  1. Please download the details here for an inspiring conference that will be held on Saturday 25 June from 10am - 5pm at Oasis Cardiff, 69B Splott Road, Cardiff CF24 2BW. Redemption Conference is being organised by RED Community and will feature speakers from International Justice Mission, Liberty, Safe From Slavery, Cymru Against Human Trafficking, Cyprus Stop Trafficking and RED Community.
  2. Safe From Slavery is delivering free Trauma Training tomorrow, Saturday 18 June, for people called to support women survivors of sex trafficking.  Email Sue Carter at if you would like to attend. The training will be held from 10.. – 15.00 at Woodville Baptist Church, Crwys Road, Cardiff CF24 4ND. Please bring your own packed lunch.

    The training covers the following topics: Living in the s-x community; Communities of origin and the s-x industry; Physical, psychological and spiritual effects of s-x slavery; Distorted view of God; Understanding the life of a trafficked s-x worker; Understanding the effect of trauma; Mental health illnesses and disorders; Pimp control; Adjusting to the new community; Aftercare: hope for the future.

  4. Might your church be interested in training resources on the subject of domestic abuse?
