Housing Justice gives voice to Christian concerns and action in the field of housing and homelessness across England and Wales.
We exist because we believe that human dignity is challenged by the lack of decent housing.
Our work includes: - Supporting churches and church-linked projects responding to the needs of homeless and vulnerable people, like night-shelters, drop-ins and other practical projects.
- Representing our members by campaigning and lobbying for more affordable housing, better homelessness services and related issues.
- Poverty and Homelessness Action Week. With our partners we provide resources for churches and others to mark Homelessness Sunday at the end of January each year. This year's theme is "Voices from the Edge" See www.actionweek.org.uk
- Faith in Affordable Housing project, a guide for churches in using redundant buildings and land to create more affordable housing. Launching in January 2009
