Compassion ministries in Wales
Compassion ministries are often an excellent way for a church, or group of churches, to start a project to serve their community. They provide ready-made expertise and advice to get things set up quickly and efficiently. If you are interested in setting up a project in a particular area, be it debt advise or helping children succeed in schools, one of the first things to do is to find out whether there is a well-established compassion ministry working in that field.
For stories of a number of churches working with compassion ministries, sign up to the Cinnamon newsletter (see cinnamon.net) or read through the Gweini resource book Power of Ten (Downloadable PDF Coming Soon).
